Jeepers…Shaggy…I don’t think we’re in the 70’s anymore!

Raise your hand if you grew up watching Scooby-Doo! I did!!! Our favorite girls are back in live action in this new and exciting high-tech, high-energy roller coaster, complete with laughs along the way.
Thanks to my partnership with Warner Brothers I was actually able to get a sneak peak of this movie before it came out. Blake and Mia and I made a movie night of it, ordered some pizzas, made my famous olive oil popcorn, pilled up the snacks and invited our best buddies over to catch up with Daphne and Velma. These girls look awesome thirty years later and are sassier than ever!
We all had so much fun, the adults laughed and the kids loved all of the slapstick pranks and action and spooky mystery along the way. It was so fun to see Daphne and Velma in modern day over thirty years after I first used to watch them in Scooby-Doo.
Did you know this movie was produced by Blonde Girl Productions which is actually founded by Ashley Tisdale and her sister Jennifer Tisdale? Blonde Girl Productions actually focuses on telling stories for millennial women by millennial women! How awesome is that?
So I have to ask…are you more of the bubbly and optimistic outgoing Daphne or do you relate more to the analytical and every-so-brainy Velma? I have to admit…I think I’m an even 50/50 between the two!
Enough of my rambling, let’s get to the good stuff! Here is a trailer for the new Daphne & Velma to get you excited!
PS – want my delicious yet healthy popcorn recipe? Here it is!
- In a large pot with a fitted lid put 5tbs of olive in the pot with a few popcorn kernels over medium-high heat.
- As soon as one of the kernels pops, quickly add 1/2 a cup of popcorn and place the cover back on.
- Listen for the rapid popping to slow down and quickly remove from the heat.
- Toss it with sea salt or your favorite popcorn topping and enjoy!
So here’s the good news – Daphne & Velma is available in Digital HD download and also in a BluRay combo pack (my personal favorite) which includes the BluRay, DVD and a digital download.
